Measuring the length of

MEASURING THE LENGTH OF THE RESCUE ROPE

Let us suppose you live in this building 1 on the 7th floor. This means that there are six floors and the ground floor below you. Measure the height of your rooms ( from the ceiling to the floor, e.g. 2,50 m) and add a thickness of the ceiling of approx. 0,40 m. 2,50 m + 0,40 m = 2,90 m. Multiply this value by the number of floors (in this example eight floors). 2.90 m x 8 = 23.20 m. Round the result (23.20 m=) up to a higher value (24 m) and add 2 m. Please provide the value you have calculated for your home in the order form for the rescue rope (in this example it is 26 m). Please make sure to check the height between the ground floor and the ground 2 since this distance may differ from the other floors.

The easiest way to measure the necessary length of the rescue rope is to use a suitable tape measure. If you are not sure, please contact your property management.
